Gravimetric Line Control System
Gravimetric control unit is a device which works continuously and fast enough to maintain the settings of the desired characteristics of the film extruded by the extrusion line. It has two functions. First of all, it keeps throughput of the extruder constant. It monitors raw material consumption continuously. For example, if 100 kg of production is targeted per hour, balancing the raw material poured on the screw, increasing and decreasing the turnover of the screw, it keeps the efficiency at targeted level. In other words, when the filter of the extruder start to get full,it keeps the efficiency stable increasing the turnover of the screw. Secondly, it keeps the film thickness stable adjusting the speed of haul-off, so that constant production of the extruder is maintained. This provides the produced film having the required specifications. As the Gravimetric control system controls the extruder constantly, analysis of production is also done very quickly. The runtime and idle time of the component can also be monitored.
Gravimetric Dosing Unit
This is a system which is mixing the initial materials used in production, based on delicate weighing. Mixing amounts can be monitored from the digital screen placed on the machine or entered digitally from the central control unit. Machine loads the necessary raw material with the help of storage built on the machine itself. Afterwards, it prepares a mixture not exceeding 2500 grams in total, keeping the ratio of the raw material on a required balance by weighing. Later on, this is poured on to the mixing unit placed on the machine. Mixing unit continuously stirs this mixture coming from the weighing unit and later on empties out to extruder or gravimetric line control unit.With the help of gravimetric dosing unit, user can change the mixing proportion very quickly. As the raw materials are being mixed in small amounts, the quality of the product gets quite high. Again with the help of the gravimetric dosing unit the consumption of the raw material can be followed in real time. If required, the past usage can be analyzed as well. The runtime and idle time of the machine can be tracked. If the dosing unit attached to the main network, it can be operated from the central control unit and regarding to the order the proportions of the raw material can be changed automatically. Also, the production recipes can be kept in memory.
